Best Kept Secret Of The 2021 Nissan Rogue: The Entry-Level S Is Spectacularly Well Equipped

We're going to let you in on a little secret, and we won't hold a grudge if you tell your friends.

The all-new, third-generation 2021 Nissan Rogue has a secret weapon. It's called the S. The Rogue S is the most affordable Rogue of them all, and it is spectacularly well equipped.

The late-2020 arrival of the all-new Rogue has led to a lot of positive headlines. And we're not going to deny that those headlines – celebrating the depth of luxury available in the Rogue Platinum, applauding the Rogue's new all-wheel-drive system, praising the Rogue's remarkable fuel efficiency and space utilization – are all 100% deserved.

We love the new Rogue at every level in the lineup, from the entry-level S to the SV to the SV Premium to the Platinum. But today we want to focus on one special aspect of the Rogue that you might not have heard about: the 2021 Nissan Rogue S is a festival of technology, an amazing blend of features and affordability, a killer mix of creature comforts and advanced safety gear.

Want more tech and features? There are Rogues for that.

The Nissan Rogue SV adds WiFi hotspotting capability, an 8-way power driver's seat, proximity access with pushbutton start, remote start with Intelligent Climate Control, ProPILOT Assist with Intelligent cruise control, Nissan's Around View Monitor, and a dual panoramic sunroof. The SV's Premium Package takes all of that equipment and adds leatherette seating, heated rear seats, integrated rear sunshades, and a power liftgate.

The 2021's Nissan Rogue Platinum list of extras is a long one. There's leather seating, memory settings for the driver's power seat, tri-zone automatic climate control, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay, navigation, 10-speaker Bose audio, LED fog lights, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, reverse tilt-down mirrors, and a power front passenger seat.
