You Have To See The New 2026 Nissan Sentra's Interior

Nissan is re-launching the Sentra with an overhauled model that amplifies the Sentra's already attractive exterior and reimagines what compact car cabins can be.

The affordable car category has been largely abandoned by many vehicle manufacturers, but Nissan is doubling down with a wide variety of improvements, including bigger screens and more safety tech.

Set to arrive in Nissan showrooms before the end of 2025, the 2026 Nissan Sentra will be available in Canada in three different versions: S, SV Premium, and SR Premium. On the inside, you'll be able to tell them apart because the S gets a 12.3-inch centre screen with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto; the SV Premium adds a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster along with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto; and the SR Premium adds 8-speaker Bose audio.

Of course, there are many other key upgrades as you move through the 2026 Sentra trim levels. The Sentra SV Premium switches from the Sentra S's keyless entry to proximity access with pushbutton start while also adding remote start, automatic climate control, a heated steering wheel, a sunroof, and wireless phone charging.

Meanwhile, the Sentra SR Premium takes the Sentra SV Premium's content but adds leather seating with a 6-way power driver's seat, Nissan's famed Around View Monitor, ProPILOT Assist, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear sonar, rear automatic braking, and lane keep assist with cyclist detection.

On the outside, the Sentras appear rather distinct, as well. The 2026 Sentra SV Premium makes the switch to 16-inch alloy wheels – both the S and SV Premium wear 205/60R16 tires – while the SR Premium runs 18-inch alloys with 215/45R18 rubber. While all Sentras use LED headlights, the Sentra SR Premium upgrades to a distinct signature headlight and a full-width tail light. The 2026 Sentra SR Premium is also set apart with a dark chrome V-motion grille, lower body side sill extensions, a rear spoiler, chrome exhaust tip, and red badging.

Pricing for the new Sentra will be announced soon.
