This Is Crazy - 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO Is Actually A Thing
June 25 2025, Centennial Nissan

NISMO, which is short for Nissan Motorsport, is a performance sub-brand for Nissan's road vehicles typically linked with traditional performance cars. You can, for example, buy a 2025 Nissan Z as a Z Sport, Z Performance, or Z NISMO. NISMO's Z delivers more power, better handling, and sportier bodywork, among other upgrades.
In the past, there've been NISMO versions of the 350Z, 370Z, and GT-R, as you'd expect. Nissan also offered less likely vehicles in NISMO form, such as the Juke and Sentra, while (in other markets) even building NISMO versions of the Micra, Versa, and Ariya. And if you were to scan some specific global markets, you'd also find a Nissan Patrol NISMO. The Patrol, for those who follow such things, is basically an Armada with a different badge.
Consequently, lo and behold, something bold, brash, and boisterous this way comes. We introduce to you the 2026 Nissan Armada NISMO. Yes, it's a little bit crazy.
Take one body-on-frame, off-road capable, luxury-lined family off-roader and let Nissan Motorsports have their way with it. The result is a major upgrade in horsepower – the twin-turbo V6 now cranks out 460 horsepower – and a commensurate increase in exhaust volume. The Armada NISMO also benefits from returned steering, retuned air suspension, and forged 22-inch NISMO wheels wearing NISMO-specific 22-inch tires.
Inside, a NISMO Armada can be identified thanks to red-accented leather seats. Outside, it's far more obvious due to NISMO's work on the brakes, front and rear fascias, grille, side steps, and fender flares. You won't mix this up with the PRO-4X version of the Armada. Not even close.
