Nissan Canada's 2023 Nissan ARIYA Electric Lineup Explained

Six models. Four power levels. Five degrees of range. Front or e-4ORCE all-wheel drive. With the 2023 Nissan Ariya, there's going to be an electric SUV for everybody.

Canada's 2023 Ariya lineup starts with the Ariya Engage, a front-wheel-drive model with 346 kilometres of range, 214 horsepower, and high-tech features such as intelligent adaptive cruise control.

Next, the Ariya Evolve is available in two different forms. The first, with front-wheel drive, provides a very strong 458 kilometres of range and 238 horsepower. It's called the Evolve+. With e-4ORCE all-wheel drive, the 2023 Ariya Evolve produces wild power (335 horsepower) and 330 kilometres of range. The Evolve offers features such as an Around View Monitor, panoramic sunroof, and head-up display.

The 2023 Nissan Ariya Venture+ is the maximum range edition. It's a front-wheel-drive Ariya with 238 horsepower and 482 kilometres of range. How do you put 482 kilometres of range into perspective? It's enough to drive from Tignish to Souris and back. It's enough to drive from Charlottetown to the U.S. border in Houlton, Maine. 482 kilometres is enough for the Ariya to travel from Summerside to Annapolis Royal, Nova Scotia. In fact, 482 kilometres allows for four round-trips between Centennial Nissan of Charlottetown and Centennial Nissan of Summerside.

At the top of the 2023 Ariya lineup you'll find two all-wheel-drive electric SUVs with 426 kilometres of range and 389 horsepower: the Ariya Platinum and Ariya Premiere. This is where you're seeing high-tech gear like ProPILOT Park and motion activated power liftgates.

Don't think of the Ariya as simply a means of avoiding the gas station. With outstanding acceleration, incredible interior space efficiency, the kind of range availability that completely negates the concept of range anxiety, and the serenity of silent EV cruising, the Nissan Ariya is an experience.

Even the e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system is revolutionary. 100% of the AWD Ariya's available power can be transferred to either the front or rear axle, and with dual electric motors providing independent torque control, the Ariya's handling capabilities are beyond belief.

What does EV ownership look like in Prince Edward Island? From $10,000 in available rebates to a free level 2 home charger and free registration, there are a lot of perks. Check out our FAQs here.
