Which Nissan Vehicle Made AutoTrader's 'Best Cars For Grads' List?

The class of 2021 has had to face a different set of challenges than most graduating classes. Students have spent the past two years getting used to online school, attending classes without the physical presence of their peers, and making the adjustment to our “new normal.” After years of studying, hard work, and achieving their academic goals, it’s time to celebrate! And what better way to take the first steps towards independence and adulthood than with the purchase of their first vehicle?

Our friends at AutoTrader know that your tassel was worth the hassle, so they wanted to help take the hassle out of searching for the best cars on a student budget. They set out to find the best vehicles that offer good value, efficient fuel economy, and strong records for safety and reliability for recent graduates. In order to qualify, vehicles had to be priced under $25,000 and achieve a combined fuel economy rating of at least 30mpg.

And guess what? Nissan’s very own 2021 Nissan Sentra made the list! According to AutoTrader, the Sentra draws “ inspiration from bigger, more expensive Nissan sedans like the Maxima, the Nissan Sentra is an affordable compact sedan with a muscular attitude. It has a stylish exterior, an upscale interior, and a lot of standard safety features.” They added that one of their favourite things about the Sentra is that you can go up to the top SR trim level while still keeping the price below $30,000.

Previously named one of AutoTrader’s Best Compact Cars for 2020, the completely redesigned 2021 Nissan Sentra represents a breakthrough for Nissan's popular compact sedan. Now in its eighth generation, Sentra has been transformed from a traditional compact sedan to a powerful presence.

The 2021 Sentra offers eye-catching styling, a comprehensive suite of intelligent driving technologies including standard Nissan Safety Shield® 360, advanced connectivity functions and confident performance. It also features a refined, premium interior that sets the standard for quality and comfort in its class. Also standard on all three Sentra grade levels is Apple CarPlay® integration and Android Auto™. Available on Sentra SR are NissanConnect Services and NissanConnect with Wi-Fi hotspot.
